Both The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery have applauded FDA’s approval because so long, use of silicone breast implants was restricted only to cases of breast reconstruction after accident or injury or severe trauma or diseases like breast cancer.
