The President Obama has increased the Pell grant amount for the current year. The maximum Pell grant for the year 2009-2010 (July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010) is $5350.An eligible applicant may receive the Pell grant depending on the school fees, nature of course, duration etc.

All grants under this category are paid to American moms irrespective of race, color or age and therefore a great relief to them. Now they are eligible for further tax credit also. The Obama and his administrators really deserve appreciation for helping American moms.
